For what seems like the millionth time in his career, Yankees DH Nick Johnson was placed on the 15-day Disabled List this morning.
Johnson has an inflamed tendon in his right wrist. Johnson originally hurt his wrist in 2008. Johnson felt his injury after taking a swing in the first inning.
The team placed Johnson on the DL even before he had a MRI.
GM Brian Cashman said it will be "several weeks" before Johnson rejoins the team according to Sam Borden at the Journal News.
